GIS Mapping and database management
As a requirement of McGregor’s operational safety management system, all marine installations are inspected and load tested prior to use to ensure safe working conditions during deployment and recovery of equipment offshore.
McGregor uses a variety of tools for processing and visualisation of shallow seismic data for interpretation and identification of shallow gas hazards associated with pre-drilling requirements for offshore wells.

To ensure equipment reliability and data integrity, McGregor’s team of technicians work closely with manufacturers to ensure all equipment is properly installed. All equipment is installed and calibrated to meet equipment and project specifications. Where possible equipment is hull-mounted or through hull mounted to ensure stability and enhance performance.

Proper installation and calibration enable the production of quality multibeam imagery as seen here
As well as data collection and processing for chart and seismic section production McGregor GeoScience also captures other data relevant to the environmental aspects of marine development projects. Marine mammals and bird population data can be observed and recorded for use by various stakeholders associated with the environmental impacts of offshore activities.
